Now what can I say with some "originality" about Lacan? I understand only a tiny bit of this Master's writings but the little that I have comprehended has been immensely useful to me over the years. I refer to the "Stadt du Miroir" and the general "Autre" business whether with Grosse "A" or petite "a". I originally started reading some of Lacan's Ecrits due to citation of Lacan in a science-fiction book by Samuel Delany whose title I cannot remember at this very moment. The whole episode pertaining to my literary adventures happened many years ago and I am not really an ardent fan of Delany's work anymore. It was a phase I sent through I suppose.
